Billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote has promised to appear on content creator Isbae U’s YouTube show, “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” after the comedian asked him directly.
It happened on Monday, October 19, during an interactive session between Dangote and Nigerian creatives in Lagos.
Isbae U told the industrialist that many of his past interviews were on platforms younger Nigerians don’t really watch. According to him, it was time for the owner of one of the world’s largest single-train refineries to show up on a YouTube show that his generation actually enjoys. He then asked when fans could expect to see him as a guest.
Dangote admitted he should have been pushed to talk more with young Nigerians. He put much of the blame on his Chief Security Officer (CSO) and also mentioned Richie Shittu, saying his team should have told him that young people are an audience he needs to reach.
“I promise you, you will see a great change. So I will come to your show,” Dangote said.
No date has been announced for the interview. But Dangote already knows how he wants it to go.
“I want it to be a free forum where people can ask me questions,” he said.
