Singer Rolex Dee has finally regained his freedom after spending more than three months in detention.
His release comes nearly two months after he was granted ₦100 million bail.
MC Bokujaka, who has been leading the “Free Rolex Dee” campaign on social media, announced the news in a series of videos on Tuesday. In one of the videos, Rolex was seen lying on a hotel bed, asking MC Bokujaka not to film him.
Sharing the update on Instagram, MC Bokujaka wrote: “ROLEX DEE has been released! Finally, the news many Nigerians have been waiting for! This is a moment of relief for his family, friends, supporters, and everyone who has been calling for his release. Truth be told, this case has generated a lot of conversations, questions, and controversies. Now, we hope everyone involved can move forward peacefully.”
Rolex was first arrested in April 2026 over allegations that he defamed Fuji musician Taye Currency during an interview on the Agbaletu program. He was later released, before being rearrested in early July after operatives of the Oyo State Police Command reportedly lured him from Lagos under the pretext of a reconciliation meeting.
