“Where the Money Dey?” Portable Challenges VeryDarkMan Over Burna Boy’s #200m Donation

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has questioned social media activist VeryDarkMan over Burna Boy’s reported ₦200 million donation for a school project, demanding to know how the money was spent.

In a video, Portable criticised VeryDarkMan for painting portraits on a wall, questioning why he painted footballer Adebayo instead of Burna Boy, who he claimed provided the funds.

“Burna Boy give you money, wetin you use am do? NGO money, where the money dey?” Portable asked.

He also questioned why VeryDarkMan included himself in the painting, arguing that it didn’t make sense if the money for the project came from someone else.

Portable went further, alleging that Burna Boy had given VeryDarkMan more than ₦200 million specifically to build a school.

“You are fighting for your pocket. Burna Boy give you N200 million plus, make you build school, you go build Ashewo house,” he said.
