Ronaldo Declares Himself “The Most Complete Player” in Football History

Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo has declared himself the most complete player in the history of football.

Speaking in an interview with CNN Portugal, the 41-year-old compared himself to other football greats, including Lionel Messi, Pele and Diego Maradona.

“If someone prefers Messi, Pele or Maradona, that’s a matter of personal taste. I respect that. But to say Cristiano Ronaldo is not a complete player is a lie. I am the most complete player,” Ronaldo said.

Ronaldo is currently 20 goals away from reaching the 1,000-goal mark in his career.
