A widely circulated video has captured the moment Nigerian TikToker Peller demanded a refund of ₦500,000 from a troll he had gifted money to during a livestream.
During the livestream, the troll, who claimed to be a student, spoke about his mounting expenses, including unpaid school fees and accommodation costs. He said his tuition, which he estimated at ₦120,000, had not yet reflected on the school portal.
Peller was initially hesitant to send the money, citing past disappointing experiences with people online. But he eventually agreed to transfer ₦500,000, saying the cost of school was too high.
“If you graduate, where do you want to see money? That’s too much for school, ₦500K,” he said at the time.
In a surprising turn, Peller later demanded the money back, going as far as staking his life on getting it returned. In a video posted to his WhatsApp channel, the recently married TikToker vowed to deal with the young man if he touched the funds.
According to Peller, who appeared visibly upset, he only made the demand after fans informed him that the same man had previously trashed his image online.
