L.A.X Is Officially Off the Market — Ties the Knot With Ella in Malta

Nigerian singer L.A.X (real name Damilola Afolabi) is officially a married man — again. The singer and his partner Ella (Emmanella) exchanged vows in a civil wedding ceremony in Naxxar, Malta, on September 17, 2026, following their traditional wedding back home in Nigeria earlier this year.

Ella turned heads in an ivory Mazelle Bridal column gown with a fitted corseted bodice, sweetheart neckline and a sculptural white bolero jacket, paired with a cathedral-length veil and an unconventional bouquet of white calla lilies. L.A.X kept it sleek in a custom all-black TJWHO velvet suit.

Announcing the news on Instagram, L.A.X wrote: “Legally hitched to the love of my life, in the most beautiful city. Malta, you have our hearts.”

Two ceremonies down, presumably a honeymoon (or two) to go. Congratulations to the newlyweds — Naija weddings really don’t do “just one” anymore.
