Leaked Audio: Toyin Abraham Criticised for Reaction to Remarks About Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham is facing criticism on social media following the circulation of an alleged leaked audio conversation between her and a TikTok fan, Bisgold.

The 12-minute recording, reportedly released by blogger Mama Esabod, has drawn reactions online after Abraham was heard laughing in response to remarks made about fellow actresses Funke Akindele and Iyabo Ojo, rather than correcting the fan.

In the audio, conducted mainly in Yoruba and Pidgin English, Bisgold was heard making repeated negative remarks about Akindele, with Abraham appearing to listen and laugh along rather than push back.

The conversation also touched on Iyabo Ojo. According to the recording, Bisgold claimed Ojo had not moved past an earlier incident, a comment Abraham reportedly laughed at and agreed with.

The clip has since sparked criticism online, with some social media users questioning Abraham’s boundaries with fans and her response to comments about her colleagues.

One user, WhoKnowsyezt, wrote: “Toyin no just get sense olohun. See how you’re comfortable with a FAN.”

Another user, Fifi Efretuei, said: “Not a fan of either of them but seems this lady can’t learn a simple lesson of setting boundaries. She talks too much.”

In the same recording, Abraham reportedly spoke about actors Itele and Kemity, alleging that some people who claim to support her use fake accounts to attack others online. She described Kemity as someone she regards as a daughter.
